Appropriate rounds for juniors: please indicate age on application form. We reserve the right to move up to the next available distance if necessary.

Pure carbon shafts will not be permitted.

Entries can only be accepted by GNAS members.

NOTES

  • All archers must be affiliated to G.N.A.S. or a F.I.T.A. Association and produce their membership cards when signing in.
  • G.N.A.S. Dress code Rule 307 applies all day.
  • In compliance with G.N.A.S Child Protection guidelines any person wishing to engage in any form of photography or video must obtain the authorization of the Tournament Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or rescind such authorisation of persons not abiding by the Organisers conditions.
  • Record Status Shoots are liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply; any refusal will be treated as a positive result. The entry form must be signed by a parent/guardian on behalf of Juniors to signify their consent to their child being tested if approached.
  • Results will be displayed for five minutes for objections prior to the presentation of awards.

Compound & Recurve will shoot 3 spot Faces in ends of 3 arrows in 2 minutes

Longbows & Barebows will shoot single spot faces in ends of 3 arrows in 2 minutes

Each Detail will get 1 end of practice at each session.

Shooting Order:

· All sessions will start with one end of Practice .

· All sessions will be shot in timed ends of three arrows in two minutes.

· The results will be posted for 5 minutes before the presentation, after which no alterations will be made.

· Medals will be awarded for all Rounds according to entries

Nottinghamshire Archery Society League Shoot & Oregon Challenge. American Round. Appropriate rounds for juniors. First competition 9 May 2010, held at Sherwood Achers in Southwell. These will be three shoots with scores counting from your best two. All Nottinghamshire clubs welcome to enter. The first two league shoots will be held at Sherwood Archers, the last competion will be held at Wilford Bowmen on 15 August.

FITA 70m to consist of 72 arrows at 70 metres (122 cm FITA Face) in ends of 6 arrows to prevailing FITA

timing shooting in 2 details with 4 archers to a boss.

This event is held to provide the opportunity for archers to gain Target awards, UK Ranking and

Qualification scores. There will be a limited presentation following the end of the second session.

Session 1 - Assembly: 08:30, Practice 08:45 - 09:30, Start 09:30

Session 2 - Assembly: 12:45, Practice 13:00 - 13:45, Start 13:45

Camping:- Strictly not on the tournament field but is available at The Lady Margaret Hall

(Tel; Caretaker on 01909 476034).

Light refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Please note all archers and visitors are restricted to marked access routes and the competition field within the Welbeck estate and are not permitted walk around the private estate other than public footpaths.

Welbeck Archers and their volunteers staging this shoot can not be held responsible for any injury, loss or damage howsoever caused unless proven to be due to their negligence.

Seniors - Record Status Long National in the morning followed by a Non Record Status National in the afternoon or a Record Status National in the morning followed by a Non Record Status National in the afternoon.

Juniors - Record Status National Round appropriate to age in the morning followed by the same Non Record Status round in the afternoon.

Medals will be given for all rounds shot including the Double round (Long National + National as well as the Double National) for Ladies, Gentlemen & Juniors shooting Recurve, Compound, Longbow & Barebow (G.N.A.S. Rule 204).

There is a Team award for the Double Round (Team of 3 consisting of 1 Recurve, 1 Compound & 1 Longbow from the same club).

  • All archers must be affiliated to G.N.A.S. or a F.I.T.A. Association and produce their membership cards when signing in.
  • G.N.A.S. Dress code Rule 307 applies all day.
  • In compliance with G.N.A.S Child Protection guidelines any person wishing to engage in any form of photography or video must obtain the authorization of the Tournament Organiser. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or rescind such authorisation of persons not abiding by the Organisers conditions.
  • Record Status Shoots are liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply; any refusal will be treated as a positive result. The entry form must be signed by a parent/guardian on behalf of Juniors to signify their consent to their child being tested if approached.
